Moo’s Formby Adventure

We had a little adventure over the weekend and Moo came along for the ride. The hooman and her husband took their campervan over to Formby along with their niece. Unfortunately, Holly and Gracie couldn’t come along as they are reactive around other pups and it wouldn’t have been a good combination with a toddler in toe!

Moo is slowly getting used to the campervan. At first she was very nervous because the van can be slightly loud and bumpy when driving but she’s cottoning onto the fact she gets to have lots of adventures when she goes away in it.

We stayed in a fab campsite which was a ten minute drive from Formby beach and despite the rain on Sunday, we managed to survive the night and made it to the beach the following day. It was absolutely worth the rainy stay and Moo had a fantastic time. Formby beach is beautiful and a fantastic dog friendly beach. We will definitely be back!

What a first day!

And relax…

Today was our first official day of dog grooming and what a busy first day it was. Our first clients were the beautiful Coco and Bluebelle who came to have a girly pamper day. The gorgeous girls enjoyed the full spa experience and even had chance to play a few rounds of tag. We had all the kisses from Bluebelle whilst Coco decided to chill and spend most of her session lying down. After all the preening, they were taken home to their pawrents who seemed ecstatic at the girls’ new looks.

It was definitely a full on day grooming 2 old English Sheepdogs but it was fantastic to have so many puppy kisses and cuddles. We hope to see them again soon!

It all begins today!

Here we go!

Well, today it all starts to feel real. Having officially announced we have begun our business, we have 2 gorgeous girls booked in today for a full groom. Coco and Bluebell are fabulous Old English Sheepdogs. These ladies have thick and curly coats. The owners are keen to make sure that they are comfortable as possible when the weather gets hotter (if it ever stops raining that is!). So, we’re going to take off quite a bit of fur to leave them feeling nice and cool. We’ll let you all know how we get on!
